I grew up in the northeast U.S., skiing icy pistes until 2007 when I moved to Colorado for university. There I was introduced to backcountry skiing and the outdoors.
My first international ski trip was to Japan in December, 2011, where I returned for eight winters working as a ski guide and photographer. Unfortunately I got injured when I fell while skiing in Switzerland in the spring of 2019. I had to undergo a recovery process that lasted until December of 2020. When I returned to skis I began teaching skiing in Crans Montana and have discovered a passion for teaching.
In between work I ski and bike as much as possible. Discovering new places and trying to be creative with my camera. I am currently working towards the Swiss Snow Pro Brevet in Switzerland.
Current locations: Crans Montana (December-April), Argentina and Chile (August-November).
